OUR MISSION is to provide our students with the
best customer service and the highest level of
reality-based training possible. To help us achieve this
mission, we have posted our policies and restrictions.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding any of
these policies and how they may relate to you and your
particular situation, please
1) OUR POLICIES - We reserve the right to change
our course fees, payment, refund and cancellation
policies at any time.
2) ENROLLMENTS -
Positions in the courses are sold on a FIRST COME FIRST
SERVED basis. Since many of our classes do fill to
capacity, it is in your best interest to enroll as early
as possible. Payments may be made via our online
shopping cart, FAX, or Mail.
3) WEATHER AND/OR ADVERSE CONDITIONS - We will
not cancel a class on account of inclement weather, so
please do not call and ask for a refund because it is
too cold, hot, or windy. We will be there and we expect
you to be there as well.
If the weather becomes unsafe,
(blizzards, hurricanes, tornado conditions, etc.) the
instructor will make the call with regards to any
4) PROGRAM EXPENSES - Most program expenses
are incurred while preparing for you to attend a course.
Our cancellation and refund policies reflect the fact
that it is impossible to recover these costs for late
cancellations, no-shows, or withdrawals. It is also
nearly impossible to fill a space on a course if you
cancel at the last minute.
If you cancel:
60 or more days prior to course......75% Refund
15-59 days prior to course......50% Refund
14 days or fewer.......No Refund
Students who leave a course once it has begun,
whether due to sickness or any other reason, will not be
entitled to a refund though arrangements may be made to
transfer to a future course during that same calendar
year, if spaces are available. Students who do not show
up for their course will lose the entire deposit.
5) CHANGES AND/OR CANCELLATIONS OF CLASSES - We will do
everything in our power to ensure the class goes on as
scheduled, however, we reserve the right to Postpone
Classes, Substitute Instructors, or Change The Venue of
the scheduled training course if absolutely necessary
In such cases we will provide adequate
notice of this and/or the new course dates as soon as
possible. There will be no refunds issued in these
If a class must be cancelled without being
rescheduled, a full refund will be issued to the
In the event of a natural disaster, unavailability of
air travel due to natural disaster or terrorism, or air
travel delays due to terrorism, natural disasters,
political unrest, airline strikes, or any other reason
or occurrence outside our control that causes the
instructor not to be able to travel or for any other
reason causes the unexpected postponement of the course,
a full credit voucher will be issued equal to the course
fee. This voucher shall not have an expiration date.
There will be no refunds issued in these extreme cases.
6) FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY - Our
training is presented for lawful information purposes
only, and without any intent that the material will be
used by anyone for unlawful purposes.
OTHER FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What time does class start and end?
A: Our classes start at 9:00 am unless otherwise noted
in the class description. Class is finished when all of
the material covered but we typically finish around 5:00
Q: What Gear Should I Bring?
A: For the 1-Day Urban Survivor you will need a sack
lunch, water, personal snacks, notebook, and pen. For
the Survival on the Run Course, a detailed gear list is
emailed out upon registering.
Q: Can I Bring My Video Camera?
A: NO, We do not allow any video to be
shot in class, except by our staff. We have a number of
DVDs and a video series on Urban Survival
available through our website that cover the points
discussed in class if you wish to have follow-up
